The Right and Wrong way to Extend a Game’s Lifespan

Gravity Collision

There comes a time in every Games life, when it finally dies. For some Games, that lifespan is a little over a Month. This is due to a number of factors, the main being, focusing too much on Microtransactions, and not enough time on ACTUAL Game Content.

For other Games, this lifespan could be 10 Years or longer. These Games, tend to eventually release uninspired Content. Their writing team may have transitioned to other Projects, or they’ve succumb to the greedy cycle of Profit over Gamers. Nevertheless, the best way to extend a Games life, is to make it as Pro Gamer as possible. And what is more Pro Gamer than…

A Modding Platform

Stories that will blow you away.

At Gravity Collision, we are highly focused on the Quality of our Games. We are highly focused on the Quality of our Experiences. But, eventually a Development Team moves on. They should! Money usually equals Stagnation. Being acquired usually kills innovation, in favor of Profits. We will continue delivering experiences to you. While we Develop these experiences, we are also concurrently developing the Modding Platforms that will eventually take over Development of our non-current Games.

Our Game Development Structure looks like this:

Medium’s lack of Bullet Point support is a little insane…

We want the Community to become obsessed with our Universes. Our Main Story and Expansions aim to do just this. We want to tell Stories that our Players relate to, and obsess over. Our Players have the freedom to bend the Story to their will, without it breaking. This will lead to Reddit & Discord Discussion on all 6 of our Characters, and their Best Story Path, and how to ensure their Survival. We are very excited to see how this turns out.

We want Modders to take our Story, and extend upon it, after our Two Expansions have released. Once they have, will we relinquish the direction, to Modders. Using our Voting System, Modders will compete on which Mod will extend the Universe. Expansion Content, Monthly Content Drops, and Multiplayer Content are ALL up for development grabs.

Our Ecosystem is entirely open. We only take a 1% Transaction Fee in our Marketplace, which is entirely optional to use, and consists entirely of Player-Listed Items. That 1% Fee is partially used to operate our Ecosystem, and partially distributed to our Developers.

Convinced we are passionate yet? Convinced we absolutely hate Player-Monetization? Well, you’ll be more convinced over the next few weeks, as we are nearly two weeks away from our Crowdsale, and nearly a Week before our Bombshell.

Can’t wait!
