CGUM & our approach to Story Telling is a Deadly combination.

The way Stories are currently told are Linear. Even Stories that are supposed to be Dynamic tend to bring you back to the same result or place, making the choices you made completely pointless. Game Developers these days tend to focus more on other aspects of the Game, like Multiplayer, Cosmetics, and Monetization. They have a duty to their Shareholders to increase profits, every Quarter.

We don’t.

Our approach to Story Telling, is a little different. So different in fact, that we can’t fit it into a Game Genre. So, we are calling it CGUM. It stands for Community Governance Universe Machine. “The Community steers the Story forward, using Votes”. We will release the Base Game, and you’ll Vote on what Expansion we will Develop next (out of 3 Choices).

We will release a Game with arguably the most Dynamic Singleplayer Campaign you’ve ever seen. We will base our Stories around a few In Game Events, and a few Characters.

One of the Potential Games you’ll choose for us to Develop (because you get to choose, not us), is based on 13 Major Events, with 6 Playable Characters at Launch. Our Story Telling will guide these 6 Characters through our World, in separate directions. Some may intersect, some might not.

Each Character will have to make a choice at these Major Event. Depending on the Choice, it will affect all the other Characters, some of them, or only the Character themself. Since all 6 Characters will be Playable, each Character’s Progress can be tracked in the “Story Save”. You’ll create a Story Save and you’ll be able to play each Character within that specific Story.

Maybe you want to play a few Missions as Character A, and then switch to Character B, that is okay, it’s your choice. Just know that as you push the Story forward, the decisions one Character makes will heavily impact the Story of all the other Characters.

If you manage to beat our Story, with all the Characters still alive? You’ll receive our Hand-Crafted Unique-Tier Item. Anyone who is playing the Game at that time, will be shown “[Username] is the World’s First to beat our Story!”.
